ご挨拶
Having first lived in Japan in the last years of the Showa period, I have many decades of experience teaching English to students of various levels.
Teaching is a lifelong passion for me and I have prepared students for the top levels of EIKEN for many years. I also have experience as an examiner which provides me with a unique perspective on test preparation.
Having obtained level 1 in the Japanese Proficiency Test, I am sympathetic to the process that examinees go through in pursuing fluency in a second language.
I also have experience as an interpreter and translator and have worked at organisations such as NHK, Nishi-Nihon Shimbun, Kyushu University Hospital, Fukuoka University Hospital and Fukuoka District Court.
